Summer use method:
The temperature is high in summer, and the tractor works in a high temperature environment. Special attention should be paid to the following issues.
1. Be careful when handling "boiling" When the cooling water "boils", be careful. The correct way to handle it is: run the engine at medium speed, open the radiator cap, release the hot air, wait for it to cool down, and then slowly add cold water. When opening the radiator cap, the operator should stand in the upwind position and do not face the water inlet to avoid being scalded by the high-temperature water vapor sprayed out.
2. Keep the cooling system clean Before the arrival of summer, the cooling system should be thoroughly descaled and cleaned to make the water pump and radiator water pipes unobstructed to ensure the normal circulation of cooling water. In addition, weeds and other objects attached to the surface of the radiator should be removed in time.
3. Prevent water leakage Cooling system leakage often occurs at the water pump shaft sleeve. At this time, tighten the water seal compression nut appropriately. If it is ineffective, it means that the packing has failed and should be replaced in time. The packing can be wound with asbestos rope coated with graphite powder.
4. Pay attention to the tension of the belt. If the fan belt is too loose, it is easy to slip, causing the speed of the fan and water pump to drop and the wind force to be insufficient. If the fan belt is too tight, the bearing load is too large, causing aggravated wear and increased power consumption. The general requirement is: when the thumb is pressed on the middle of the belt, the belt sags within the range of 10 mm to 15 mm. If it is too loose or too tight, it should be adjusted in time.
5. Correct use of thermostats. Thermostats are automatic (such as thermostats) and manual (such as thermal insulation curtains and blinds). Some drivers think that the lower the water temperature, the better in hot summer, and often remove the thermostat. Doing so will greatly extend the engine preheating time and accelerate the wear of parts when starting a cold car. Therefore, the thermostat should not be removed in summer. Thermal insulation curtains and blinds are used to adjust the air volume passing through the radiator. Thermal insulation curtains are generally not required in summer, and blinds should also be placed in the fully open position.
6. Correct selection of fuel In summer, the temperature is high, and diesel with a higher freezing point can be used, and the correctness of the fuel supply advance angle must be ensured. In addition, special attention should be paid to preventing oil leakage in the fuel supply system, because oil leakage not only causes oil waste, but also may cause fire. In addition to diesel, lubricating oil and grease should also be selected as summer brands according to regulations. Some tractors have oil temperature reversing valves. When performing seasonal maintenance, the reversing valve should be turned to the position where the oil flows to the oil radiator.
7. Pay attention to the maintenance of batteries In summer, the water in the battery electrolyte is easy to evaporate, and special attention should be paid to checking the battery liquid level. The normal liquid level should be 10 mm to 15 mm higher than the plate. The electrolyte density of the battery should be reduced as required. The ventilation holes on the filling port cover should be cleared more. Temporarily unused batteries should be stored in a cool and ventilated place.
8. Anti-fuel vapor blockage The higher the temperature, the faster it evaporates, and the easier it is to form a vapor blockage in the oil circuit. Therefore, the fuel filter should be cleaned in time in summer to keep the oil circuit unobstructed; a wet cloth can be placed on the fuel pump during driving, and water can be sprayed regularly to keep it moist and reduce the generation of air blockage. Once the fuel system generates air blockage, the vehicle should be stopped immediately to cool down, and the oil circuit should be filled with fuel using a hand oil pump.
9. Prevent engine explosion. Explosion caused by overheating of the engine will increase the wear of the upper part of the cylinder by 3 to 5 times. Therefore, the carbon deposits in the combustion chamber, valve head, etc. should be thoroughly removed; the fuel supply and fuel supply time should be checked and adjusted to prevent explosion.
