According to chemical and mineral composition, pyrophyllite can be divided into waxy pyrophyllite, hydrothermal pyrophyllite, kaolinite pyrophyllite, siliceous pyrophyllite and so on.

1. The main mineral of waxy pyrophyllite is pyrophyllite, accounting for 90%, and the other minerals are chalcedony, limonite, and hydrobauxite, which can be used to manufacture ceramics, sculptures, fillers, coatings and refractory materials.

2. The main mineral of hydrothermal pyrophyllite is pyrophyllite, and the secondary mineral is hydrothermal pyrophyllite, containing trace limonite, rutile, etc., which can be used to manufacture refractory materials and glass crucible.

3. Kaolinite pyrophyllite main mineral kaolinite, secondary minerals for pyrophyllite, containing trace limonite, rutile, etc., can be used to manufacture ceramics, refractory materials.

4. Siliceous pyrophyllite is the main mineral pyrophyllite, secondary minerals are quartz, chalcedony, trace minerals are limonite, etc., can be used to manufacture ceramics, refractories, fillers and so on.
